Manchester Airport Parking: The Complete Guide

10 April 20266 min read

Manchester has three terminals, a free drop-off zone and plenty of parking choices. Here's what you need to know.

Terminal layout

Terminals 1 and 2 are next to each other, and Terminal 3 is a short covered walk away. Jet2 and TUI flights mostly leave from Terminal 2.

Free drop-off at JetParks

Manchester offers free drop-off at the JetParks 1 car park, with a free shuttle bus to the terminals. If you're being dropped off, it's the cheapest way in. Otherwise the terminal forecourt charges £5.50 for 5 minutes.

Best value for a week away

For holidays of 7–14 days, Park & Ride and off-airport options around Wythenshawe and Styal are usually the cheapest. Book early for the school holidays, when car parks fill up fast.

Getting there by train

Manchester Airport has its own railway station and a Metrolink tram stop, so public transport is a real option if you live near a station.
