Meet & Greet vs Park & Ride: Which Is Right for You?

3 May 20265 min read

The two most popular kinds of airport parking compared on price, convenience, security and time.

How Meet & Greet works

You drive to a set point at the terminal at the time you booked. A uniformed, insured driver meets you, checks your car with you and parks it in a secure compound. When you land, you call ahead and your car is brought back to the same spot.

How Park & Ride works

You drive to a secure car park near the airport, park your car yourself and take the shuttle bus to the terminal. Coming home, you ride the bus back to your car. Shuttles usually run every 10–20 minutes.

Price

Park & Ride is usually 20–40% cheaper than Meet & Greet for the same dates. The longer your trip, the more you save.

Our verdict

Choose Meet & Greet if time, children or luggage matter most. Choose Park & Ride if price matters most and you don't mind a short bus ride. Both kinds come with Park Mark-accredited options on our comparison.
