What Is Park Mark and Why Does It Matter?
2 March 20263 min read
Park Mark is the police-backed Safer Parking Scheme. Here's what it means for your car.
The Safer Parking Scheme
Park Mark® is run by the British Parking Association and supported by the police. Car parks are checked for lighting, CCTV, access control, staff presence and how they handle crime.
Why it matters
An accredited car park has shown it takes active steps to reduce crime. It's an easy way to tell good operators from bad ones when you compare prices.
How to spot it
Look for the Park Mark badge on our comparison results. Use the 'Park Mark only' filter to see accredited providers only.
